Artistic photography is about capturing a scene in a way that many haven't seen it before - and time lapse is an ideal genre for that. Time lapse reveals the sky in motion that normally moves to slow for the naked eye to perceive. It reveals beautiful patterns in clouds, traffic, crowds, plant growth, etc. and is one of the best ways to illustrate the passage of time.
Cameratown’s founder Ron Risman, launched Timelapse Workshops in 2013 as a way to help photographers learn to use their DSLR’s to capture breathtaking dark-sky time lapse video. Ron just released their latest workshop film titled “SkyLight,” which was captured by 13 of the photographers that attended his October workshops in Southern Utah.
