Canon Issues Recall for Canon EOS Rebel T4i DSLR's Sold from May 31st to June 27th, 2012

Canon has issued a voluntary recall of the new EOS Rebel T4i Digital SLR's sold in the U.S. between May 31st and June 27th. The recall was issued after learning the front rubber grip has caused an allergic reaction with some users and may also turn from black to white after a short time. Canon have determined after inquiring with the rubber manufacturer and analysis, that the white substance is zinc bis (N,N’-dimethyldithiocarbamate).
